Meet Laminar

Designed for perfect latte art.

The inside wall has been designed to reduce turbulence, lifting the crema to the top and giving you more control when painting latte art. 

Made from Porcelain, a material that dates back to the Tang dynesty (nearly 1500 years ago). These cups will have the same finish as Mμ – a matt black body with an unglazed exterior and matt black glazed interior that is foodsafe and non-porous. The unglazed exterior adds a little friction, giving a rough tactile feel to the cup as well as introducing variation in tone, making each one unique.

Sold as a set of two, these cups will come in a bespoke black card stock tube with simple screen print. An antique white paper label holds the 2 cups securely inside, preventing movement during transit. Entirely plastic free.

Relentlessly Tested

Since launching Mμ over 2 years ago, I have always had plans to add a latte cup to the family. 

Having gone through a slow iteration process, working closely with local baristas, I am proud of the final design.

The Japanese influence is clear in the continued yunomi form, negating the need for a handle.

Manufacturing limits are being pushed as far as possible with the continued ribbed design. A parabolic interior has been embraced to provide a perfect canvas for your latte art.
